During this 5-day course attendees will be introduced to Fusion-CAD focused on mechanical part design; basic sketching, solid modeling and file import/export. Emphasis of the course will be on Fusion-CAM, covering tool paths and workflow.

Attendees will learn to use basic 2-D milling tool paths and apply them to both attendee created models and imported models. Tool building, post processing, set-up sheets and multiple work coordinate systems will introduced during the course. The culmination of the course will include a basic introduction surface tool paths. Throughout the week attendees will have the opportunity to set-up, fixture and run a part they programmed on a Haas CNC Mill.

This class is intended for people who have had little exposure to Fusion- CAD or Fusion-CAM. Attendees should be familiar with windows operating systems, basic file saving and using a USB flash drive. For maximum benefit from the class attendees are encouraged to have downloaded their free copy of Fusion 360 and familiarize themselves with the operating system layout before attending class. After signing up for class suggested learning assets will be sent to the attendee to use before coming to class. Course assets used during the class will be available to attendees for use at their instructional facility and the end of the class.
