Designed for the CNC machining teacher with an operational understanding of a Haas 3-axis CNC mill, this class will include both theory and hands on lab time. The theory portion of the class will include rotational axis, 4th axis set-up considerations, programming changes, program editing, and long hand 4th axis programming.

The lab portion of the class will include safety, 4th axis rotary set-up, setting work offsets both manually and with a tool setter and spindle probe, 4th axis work holding, tool clearance considerations, dry run techniques, and 4th axis machine operation. During the 4-day course participants will have the opportunity to program, setup and run three 4th axis projects.
