This 4 hour Exploratorium will show the use of precision GPS equipment and will include this use with Trimble handheld units. In attending this Exploratorium, you will also use Collector on smart devices with Trimble Antenna’s for Data Collection and downloading of the information will be collected into ArcGIS Desktop and AGO. A brief discussion of GPS accuracy and the history of the technology will be included. Field Data Collection using high accuracy GPS and downloading in other application software will be demonstrated.
