The symposium will examine external reviews of the Manufacturing USA Institutes, designed to create partnerships and foster collaboration among industry, academia, and government, to help provide new information and insight into the role and performance of the institutes; address the contributions of the institutes to workforce, economic development, and enhancing domestic manufacturing and international competitiveness; and describe how other nations are supporting advanced manufacturing; and discuss potential U.S. priorities and policies for action.
