Advocates in Action is a 2-day program that provides an inside look at higher education policy development and the federal legislative process. Participants will hear from the administration and senior Congressional staff about the current dynamics and issues surrounding funding and other legislation, including reauthorization of the Higher Education Act. Community college presidents, trustees, government relations directors, and other campus administrators are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to network, discuss key policy issues, and advocate for critical federal programs.
