During this two day seminar participants will be introduced to spatial technologies concepts. Participants will also learn how to take advantage of existing resources to enhance the classroom, learn about types of data and how to use them in GIS, use basic analysis functions to encourage critical thinking, and build and share interactive maps and mapping applications. This training is free and a limited number of stipends are available. Participants may earn up to 18 PD hours in ADE FOCUS area 8.02.09 (Next generation learning/integrated technology).
