This 5 day class will cover core competencies in the latest PC hardware and software technologies as well as safety and environmental issues and soft skills. There will be a special unit focusing on Cyber Security. The course will cover all topics required for CompTIA’s new A+ (2012) Certification and the new Cisco IT Essentials curriculum (version 6.01). This course’s focus is on the training needs of high school IT faculty although it will also be open to College IT faculty. Attendees will have opportunity to gain certification as a Cisco Certified System Instructor (CCSI) for Cisco IT Essentials (ITE) curriculum.
