The National Applied AI Consortium is announcing a collaboration with Grow with Google to support college faculty to develop AI skills and equip students with in-demand skills, including those in AI, through the recently announced Google Prompting Essentials, Google AI Essentials, and Google Career Certificates program (now with AI training).
The new Google Prompting Essentials course teaches students how to instruct AI - known as prompting - in 5 easy steps and make AI work for them. The self-paced course is taught by AI experts at Google and can be completed in less than ten hours, no experience necessary.
Community colleges can access this course at no-cost. On November 14, the Consortium will host a webinar with Grow with Google to:

- Share more about Google’s new course, Prompting Essentials.
- Discuss how Google's AI courses are used at Miami Dade College
- Participate in a Q&A session
