This workshop will introduce participants to lean and green concepts and allow them to experience the benefits of applying these concepts firsthand via a hands-on simulation. Participants will leave the workshop with an introductory level understanding of:
1) the fundamental concepts of the lean philosophy,
2) the growing trend toward sustainable manufacturing,
3) how these two concepts can be effectively integrated, and
4) the benefits that accrue to companies that employ them.
