This is a build from scratch workshop specific to the Robot Drone League (RDL) initative that is designed for middle and high school educators. RDL is an innovative educational program aimed at inspiring and empowering young individuals through exciting STEM challenges involving robots and drones. RDL goes beyond conventional education by nurturing a wide range of skills, fostering innovation, and addressing real-world issues through a transformative influence on shaping the future workforce.

This year’s summit will explore the crucial advancements in next-generation technologies, including, but not limited to, digital engineering, Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), cybersecurity, and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS).

This is a build from scratch workshop that is specific to the MATE (Marine Advanced Technology Education) competition initiative and is designed for middle and high school educators and their students. 

Participants will join a week long professional development and complete a fully functional and advanced Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV). This workshop is led by former MATE World Champion Team Coach and Mentor, Ned Voorhees.
