Public Health Assessment Process and the Community
An agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) provides this interactive learning program that explains how people who live or work near hazardous waste sites can be involved in the public health assessment process. This program consists of three modules: Public Health Assessment Overview 1 - Mission and Community, Overview 2 - Exposure Pathways and Toxicologic Evaluation, and Overview 3 - Evaluating Health Effects Data and Determining Conclusions and Recommendations.
