This 90-page guide explains community-based education and ecosystem management as organizing frameworks around natural resource-based studies. The manuals purpose is to generate ideas, provide support, and highlight an organizational template for educators that will allow that process of a community-based approach to instruction can be initiated. Other secondary education guides can serve to expand the community-based approach, particularly Community as a Context for Learning.
