These presentation slides, made available by Maricopa Advanced Technology Education Center (MATEC), provide information for educators on how to introduce nanotechnology to their programs. Nanotechnology is defined as "manipulating and characterizing (seeing, feeling) of matter at the sub-100 nanometer scale (the nano-scale)." A brief overview of the Nanotechnology Applications & Career Knowledge (NACK) Center and a brief history of nanotechnology are provided. Also included are summaries of skills required and taught in six specific examples of nanotechnology courses as well as how those courses can be implemented into a curriculum.
