Webinar: Steps to Building Great Learning Objects
This webinar and corresponding presentation slides, provided by Maricopa Advanced Technology Education Center (MATEC), were presented on April 18, 2008 by David Bunnow, Trainer and Consultant with the Wisconsin Online Resource Center (Wisc-Online). The webinar instructs viewers about the steps to building successful learning objects. Bunnow offers processes and procedures for the creation of learning objects, including a review of curriculum, identifying gaps in said curriculum, and "sizing" the instruction content. Bunnow then provides information regarding the use of multimedia platforms in learning objects and how to include assessment exercises. Further information about the development and editing of a script, using metadata, copyright, and learning object evaluation is also included.
