Teamwork In Modern Manufacturing

This presentation from the Florida Advanced Technological Education (FLATE) Center uses the example of a business (Featherlite Luxury Coaches) to demonstrate careers in manufacturing. The presentation focuses on how teams are assembled and how each team accomplishes given tasks to support the overall goals of the business. The teams discussed include Management & Planning, Design & Engineering, Service & Maintenance, Installation & Systems Verification, Finishing & Painting, Sales & Marketing, and Metals Fabrication & Welding. At the end of the presentation, teamwork activities and discussion questions are provided.
