Demonstrating the Effects of Processing on Structure and Properties Via the Annealing and Strain Hardening of Copper: Part One - Microstructure

This module will demonstrate "the structure-properties-processing relationship fundamental to materials science." Students will gain a further understanding of the affects of annealing as well as the effects of cold work on the properties and microstructure of copper. This is part one of a two-part lesson. The module would be best for college undergraduate students and should take around three hours to complete. The document is available to download in PDF file format.
