Laying the Foundation for Improving U.S. Workforce Education

This 34-page report provides information about a study sponsored under a research effort called Discovering the Educational Consequences of Advanced Technological Education (DECA). DECA was a program intended to kick-start greater research into technician education from the perspective of the National Science Foundation. "This study sought to characterize the interests, funding sources, and awareness of U.S. community college and workforce researchers about Targeted Research grants offered by the National Science Foundation's (NSF) Advanced Technological Education (ATE) program."
