Adhesion, Signaling and Cancer
This lecture from the iBioSeminars project is presented by Mary C. Berckerle from the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah and covers the cell biology topics of adhesion, signaling and cancer. This first part of this seminar provides a broad overview of the cancer problem for a lay audience. Advances in the understanding of cancer as a genetic disease are discussed. The influence of cell adhesion on control of cell growth is also reviewed.
