Introduction to Nanotechnology

This page from Foothill College describes a course on nanoscience for those who need an introduction to the subject. This course is the first in a five course series that leads to a certificate in nanoscience, nanotechnology, and nanomaterials engineering. Only a high school background is required and the course covers eight large concepts including size and scale, matter, dominant forces, and size dependent properties. The projects required by the class are also described.
