Maritime: Has Your Ship Come In?

Created by a group of middle school teachers at a SMART Summer Institute, this WebQuest allows students to "explore the maritime careers and the training requirements, education and experience needed for each position." The WebQuest has a number of components, including games, a vocabulary activity, a GIS activity, a "fun page" of interactive resources, a teacher page which aligns the materials taught to Virginia Standards of Learning, and much more.
