Nuts, Bolts, and Thingamajigs

Nuts, Bolts, and Thingamajigs, founded by the Foundation of the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, is "inspiring the next generation of manufacturers, inventors, and entrepreneurs." With that goal in mind, this site provides the information and resources needed to engage younger generations in career preparation for jobs that require hands-on skills. To that end, the website outlines the core values of Nuts, Bolts, and Thingamajigs, which are: Be involved, Youth are the future, Inspire people to work with their hands and minds, Respect for individual skills, Lifelong learning by doing, Empowering people of all ages to tinker, Pursuit of craftsmanship, and Honing interests into ability.

Also available on the website is information about scholarships and camps, venues through which to donate, and student resources, which include videos and activities that can be completed by students of all ages.
