eSyst Implementation Webinar Series Part Two: Solid State Devices

These webinar slides, provided by Maricopa Advanced Technology Education Center (MATEC), accompany a webinar that was recorded October 16, 2009. The webinar was presented by Thomas McGlew, eSyst Project Manager. The eSyst project was "conceived to address the systems view of electronics to meet industry's current needs, develop new systems resources, create a guide to help facilitate the changes, and encourage colleges to update programs." This presentation, focuses on solid state devices within this new approach. The slides describe the potential solutions eSyst resources offer electronics programs and outlines electronics courses targeted by the project team, a brief description of the implementation guide, a comparison of the traditional view and the system view of curriculum, as well as textbook and lab recommendations. These slides are part two of a six-part webinar series provided by eSyst.
