Induced Technical Change and the Cost of Climate Policy
This paper, published by the MIT Joint Program on the Science and Policy of Global Change, provides an economic analysis of a specific climate policy: a carbon tax. The analysis gauges the potential for a carbon tax to create an incentive for research and development, and subsequently lower the cost of technologies responding to climate change.
