The NIST Reference on Constants, Units, and Uncertainty

This web site provides information on three topics: fundamental physical constant, the International System of Units (SI), and expressing the uncertainty of measurement results. This site contains a checklist of rules and style conventions for proper SI usage and rules for correct typefaces for symbols in scientific manuscripts. There is access to the latest conversion factors for energy equivalents recommended by the Committee on Data for Science and Technology for international use.
