Manufacturing Skill Standards Council Overview

This document from the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council discusses the group's work and the Certified Production Technician (CPT) certification. The MSSC awards the CPT certification to new and incumbent workers who pass the four manufacturing-related modules: Manufacturing Processes and Production; Quality Assurance; Maintenance Awareness; and Safety. This document also provides the basics on the elements of the MSSC Certification system including standards setting, assessment, documentation and certification and employer engagement.
