This 52-page report is provided by the Advanced Technology Environmental and Energy Center and is the result of a series of seven regional Energy Conversations. The primary purpose of the conversations was to obtain a snapshot view of existing and upcoming energy jobs and to determine which jobs are currently needed in different regions of the country. This resulting report is "intended to provide a preliminary labor market analysis and needs assessment. This information allows educational organizations to most effectively target regional energy industry requirements and to provide both short and long-term education and training for the energy technicians of the 21st century work-force."

The report includes a table of contents and the following sections: Introduction; Blueprint of the Regional Energy Conversations; Summary of Results; Fastest-Growing Regional Occupations Chart; Mid-Atlantic Energy Conversation; North Central Energy Conversation; Northwest Energy Conversation; Southeast Energy Conversation; Southwest Energy Conversation; Western Energy Conversation; Additional Occupational Information; Future Trends; and Regional Host Institutions, Participants and Contributors.
