The Triggerfish ROV

The Marine Advanced Technology Education Center introduces the concept of actuators as they are utilized on a remotely operated vehicle, or ROV, using the Triggerfish ROV project. "The TriggerFish ROV kit uses four bidirectional motor controllers and 2 joysticks for precision navigation. The ROV system is light and highly portable and includes a wide angle camera (170°) with high resolution 7” monitor." The ROV comes with a cigarette lighter adapter and can be modified with sensors and hydraulic tools. Videos, PowerPoint presentations, and other resources are provided with instructions for construction. A free membership is required to view additional materials.
