Introduction to Creative Problem Solving in Nanotechnology
This lesson, presented by the National Nanotechnology Infrastructure Network, covers "an introduction to the field of nanotechnology by discussing its real-world implications in light of current economic issues and conditions. The lesson is performed using the Creative Problem-Solving format and serves as a method to encourage debate on current topics." By introducing nanotechnology science at the high school level, it may foster growth in the field and a greater understanding of the benefits of nanotechnology applications. Included in this lesson are a Teacher Preparation Guide, post-exercise Student Guide, CPS Grid-examples, COS Grid, and Next Generation Science Standards for this lesson.
