Silicon Crystal Origami
This video, created by Support Center for Microsystems Education (SCME), is an animation which shows the viewer how to make an origami 3-D crystal from a template developed by Jack Judy at UCLA. Through this animation, "the 3-D crystal allows you to "see" the different planes of a silicon crystal, their Miller indices and some of their properties." This activity can be found in the Crystallography Learning Module, which can be accessed from the SCME website.
