3D Printing in the Classroom
This 12-page instructor guide from Edmonds Community College provides an activity introducing students to rapid prototyping and three-dimensional (3D) printing. Students create small three-dimensional objects using a photoactive polymer, and learn about the chemistry and physics of the process. After completing this activity, students will be able to “describe the procedures for setting up an additive manufacturing process.” The instructor guide includes the following sections: Additive Manufacturing Core Competencies Covered, Overview of the Lab, Implementing the Activity, and Connections to Content.
