California Community College Programs and Academic Credentials 2010/11

This study, from the Mid-Pacific Information and Communication Technologies Center (MPICT) and California Community Colleges ICT Collaborative, analyzed academic credentials in ICT programs at 112 community colleges throughout the CCC system. The study found a high variance between departments in everything from the titles of degrees and departments to the academic requirements for similar degrees. It concludes that more consistency is needed in ICT programs across the CCC system to allow for effective transfer and articulation.
