Screenshot

This activity, from Hagerstown Community College, teaches students about the lifecycle of animals using brine shrimp. Using hand lenses, dissecting microscopes, and compound microscopes, students will examine brine shrimp at various stages of development - eggs, larvae, and adults - and describe and draw the animals. This lesson includes activity directions and two variations of an activity worksheet, one for early readers and another for third to fifth graders.
