Evaluation and Research in the ATE Program

This webinar, created by EvaluATE: Evaluation Resource Center for Advanced Technological Education, provides an introduction to the Common Guidelines for Education Research. These guidelines define the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the Department of Education's expectations concerning research and development projects funded by both agencies. The webinar explains the guidelines developed in 2013; clarifies the distinctions between research, development, and evaluation; and discusses targeted research possible within the NFS's Advanced Technological Education program.
