Evaluating Energy Needs in Missouri

This lesson, created by Jackie Carl, guides students to research various types of energy resources with the ultimate goal of creating a policy for Missouri's energy future. Students will research fossil fuels, nuclear energy, and alternative sustainable sources of energy as well as budgetary restraints to create a plan that will meet Missouri's energy needs. 

Intended for high school students, this lesson assumes that students will have a prior knowledge of proper citation of research, group work etiquette, and some type of presentation software.
