Watershed Academy Web: Online Training in Watershed Management
This is the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) "Watershed Academy Web," an online distance learning program that offers a "variety of self-paced training modules that represent a basic and broad introduction to the watershed management field." Modules are organized around six themes: watershed ecology, watershed change, analysis and planning, management practices, community and social, and water law. Modules take from thirty minutes to two hours to complete, and fifteen of them are core modules for the EPA's Watershed Academy Certificate Program. The honor-based certificate program is open to all and and recognizes trainees who complete fifteen modules and pass their self-tests.
