Landsat Science: Education
This is the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration's launch page for all things related to Landsat science education. The Landsat program has been collecting spectral information of the earth's surface for over 40 years--the longest continual record of images of our planet. This website offers links to resources for students and formal and informal educators focused around Landsat data and images. Resources for students provide links to information about how people use Landsat, understanding Landsat, how to get data, and multimedia. Activities and background resources are available for formal educators, and traveling exhibits and museum education resources are available for informal educators.
