Comprehensive Guitar Grading Rubric
The Comprehensive Guitar Grading Rubric is an evaluation tool designed to measure students' progress in a STEM Guitar course. The National Science Foundation STEM Guitar Project provides professional development to high school and community college faculty in order to better engage in student centered learning activities that relate guitar design and building to specific math, science and engineering topics. This rubric contains key categories that must be mastered in guitar construction, such as sanding, string nut installation, and soldering, and allows both student self-evaluations and teacher evaluations.
