This video, from the LEAD with Guitars in STEM project, is the second in a series of two demonstrating the steps for setting up a guitar. The host, Doug Hunt, first demonstrates the cutting of excess strings after installation before the installation of the string bar. He then shows the process of aligning the bar and then the installation itself. The guitar is then tuned for open pitch and the process of checking for neck relief is demonstrated through adjustment of the truss rod. This YouTube video runs just over 10 minutes and will be of interest to educators and students of guitar building and repair.
