University of Michigan's Center for Sustainable Systems: Factsheets

This collection of factsheets from the University of Michigan's Center for Sustainable Systems is designed to inform students, teachers, business professionals, and policy makers on a variety of topics that affect the environment. Factsheets are updated annually and peer-reviewed. "Each factsheet presents important patterns of use, life cycle impacts and sustainable solutions." A link is provided to a sustainability quiz that uses information from the factsheets.

Factsheets about the Built Environment include Commercial Buildings, Green IT, Residential Buildings, and U.S. Cities. Climate Change factsheets cover Policy & Mitigation, Science & Impacts, and Greenhouse Gases. Energy factsheets include Biofuels, Geothermal Energy, Photovoltaic Energy, U.S. Energy System, U.S. Renewable Energy, Unconventional Fossil Fuels, and Wind Energy.
