These presentation slides are from the K-12 Resources in Nanotechnology webinar presented by the Nanotechnology Applications and Career Knowledge (NACK) Center on January 31, 2014. Joyce Palmer Allen, Assistant Educational Coordinator at the National Nanotechnology Infrastructure Network, discussed reasons why k-12 students need to be exposed to nanoscale science and engineering (NSE) information, and big ideas of (NSE) and their connections to science standards. Resources for introducing students to NSE, resources for connecting NSE to curriculum, and examples for using NSE resources are also provided on these webinar presentation slides.
