This "Know your Audience, the Rest Will Follow: A Deeper Dive into Audience Assessment" webinar and corresponding webinar slides, from the Internet Scout Research Group at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, were presented by Rachael Bower, ATE Central PI, and Nancy Maron, of BlueSky to BluePrint, on April 19, 2016. Marilyn Barger of the Florida Advanced Technological Education (FLATE) Center and Tom Smith of the Institute of Agricultural Technology at Michigan State University are featured as special guests. The webinar introduces the role of an institutions' audience in funding sustainability. This is achieved by offering a framework for analyzing audience needs and sharing examples from Advanced Technological Education (ATE) grantees who have used an understanding of audience and stakeholders to grow. An introduction to the speakers' respective institutions is given, then a discussion of the role of audience and stakeholders in sustainability plans is introduced. Examples of audience for ATE projects and centers are presented with tools and tips for getting started on audience assessment. Finally, key steps to sustainability and case studies in sustainability are covered.
