This "Funding Beyond the Grant: Finding the Best-Fit Funding Model for your Project or Center" webinar and corresponding webinar slides, from the Internet Scout Research Group at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, were presented by Rachael Bower, ATE Central PI, and Nancy Maron, of BlueSky to BluePrint, April 05, 2016. Dr. V. Celeste Carter, Lead Program Director at the National Science Foundation, and Deidre Sullivan of Marine Advanced Technology Education (MATE) are featured as special guests. The webinar introduces the concept of funding sustainability and alternative funding models for sustainability. An introduction to the speakers' respective institutions is given, then goals for the webinar are discussed. These goals are to encourage participants to challenge their assumptions about future funding, to offer a framework for brainstorming and testing potential for new funding opportunities, and to share an example of an ATE center with a diverse funding model. Key steps to sustainability are presented, as well as case studies in sustainability.

The recorded webinar is 1 hour and 26 minutes long.
