The Cybersecurity Framework in Action: An Intel Use Case

This 10-page paper was created by Intel Corporation and discusses a cybersecurity pilot project. “The Framework for Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity (the “framework”) was developed in collaboration with Intel, government, and industry after President Obama issued Executive Order 13636-Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity. Soon after the Framework was developed, a pilot project was launched to test the Framework’s use at Intel. This pilot project assessed cybersecurity risk and focused on encouraging the Framework as a process and risk management tool.
