AgrowKnowledge: Developing a Curriculum

This collection of Developing a Curriculum (DACUM) charts is provided by AgrowKnowledge. The DACUM charts were created by a panel of industry professionals, college educators, and AgrowKnowledge. Each chart provides information for one of the following careers: GIS Technician/Analyst, Greenhouse Grower, Public Relations Specialist, and Natural Resources Technician. Each chart includes information about duties and tasks; tools, equipment, supplies, and materials; acronyms; work behaviors; and licenses or general knowledge and skills specific to each career. For example, the Natural Resources Technician duties include Perform biological surveys, Manage data, Plan and manage conservation, Operate and maintain equipment, Maintain and enhance customer relationships and communications, and Perform administrative tasks. For each duty a number of related tasks are given, such as perform upgrades to hardware and software applications, follow field sampling standards and equipment preparations, and many more. 

For orientation purposes Natural Resources Technician.pdf is included as a separate attachment and offers a sample of the type of material included in this collection of DACUM charts.
