UCX Applicants in the Army

These slides are from a presentation given by Susan Carter and Brian Miller at the Symposium on the Supply Chain for Middle-Skill Jobs: Education, Training, and Certification Pathways. This presentation provides information about applicants of the unemployment compensation for ex-service members program (UCX). An overview of statistics including amount paid out in 2013 and number of applicants between 2001 and 2013 is given, and information is provided on the following topics: UCX eligibility and structure, transition assistance program, applications rates, and policy recommendations.
