These slides are provided by the National Academy of Sciences (U.S.) and were presented at the April 1, 2016 Committee Meeting on the Supply Chain for Middle-Skill Jobs: Report Release on Online Education from MIT Researchers. This presentation was given during Panel II: The Educator's Point of View. The slides provide information about career and technical education (CTE), the implications of MIT recommendations from the Online Education: A Catalyst for Higher Education Reforms report, and examples of unusual types of online courses that could fit CTE. The report and other presentations given at the committee meeting are available to view separately.
