Job Skills Standards Validation

These presentation slides are provided by the National Convergence Technology Center (CTC) and were part of a presentation by Dr. Ann Beheler and Mark Dempsey at the 2017 Summer Working Connections "Leadership Academy" track. These slides cover best practices and key strategies behind getting a business group (which the CTC calls the "BILT" - Business and Industry Leadership Team) to validate the job skills needed by an entry-level worker. The goal is to make sure curriculum aligns with workforce needs by mapping the validation list to program courses. This model works across all disciplines.
