This webinar, made available by Florence-Darlington Technical College, provides an overview of grant opportunities through the National Science Foundation's (NSF) Advanced Technological Education (ATE) program and writing support opportunities through the Mentor-Connect project. An overview of the NSF is given as well as how the ATE program functions including the different types of ATE program tracks and how they are funded. Other topics covered include: How and when to receive support for writing grant proposals, general tips for writing grants, how the Mentor-Connect project can provide support for community colleges and other institutions, eligibility requirements for receiving proposal-development assistance from Mentor-Collect, benefits of being part of a Mentor-Connect cohort, and more.
