Getting Started with Your ATE Evaluation

This collection, provided by EvaluATE: Evaluation Resource Center for Advanced Technological Education, includes resources from the Getting Started workshop held at the 2017 Advanced Technological Education (ATE) Principal Investigator (PI) Conference. The Getting Started with Your ATE Evaluation portion of the workshop focused on evaluation from the start of a project or center, evaluation design, methods and instrumentation, resources for learning about productive evaluation, internal and external evaluator roles, evaluation challenges, and more. 

This collection includes PDF presentation slides and three PDF handouts. The handouts are titled Communication Plan Checklist, Getting Started With Your ATE Evaluation, and EvaluATE: Advancing excellence through evaluation. These handouts provide further information about evaluation basics, working with an evaluator, creating a clear communication plan, and more.
