Blender is a public project that provides free and open source code software for 3D printing projects. It "supports the entirety of the 3D pipeline--modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing and motion tracking, even video editing and game greation." Blender can be used on multiple platforms, including Linux, Windows, and Macintosh computers. Users of the software, in addition to creating 3D projects, can contribute to the development of the code, assist in the writing of the Blender Manual, and help coordinate educational projects using Blender software.
